The Bath Chronicle :Music festival supremo Thomas Brooman, of Corsham, has been awarded the CBE for services to music and charity. Mr Brooman is the co founder and more recently artistic director of the World of Music Arts and Dance Festival (WOMAD), which he set up with singer Peter Gabriel from a base in Box. The duo also co-founded Real World Records in 1987.
